Portraits and Pet Portraits
Are you interested
in getting a custom portrait done of either your horse, your dog or
cat, or even best friend?
Here are a few
pieces that I have done so far, (remember that the majority of my work
is portraits and pictures of all my friends and family) and I have added
my prices for you below to view. Please feel free to contact me anytime
for more information.
I do all my portraits on a hardboard, so there is no concerns of being
damaged during shipping and I work in oils. I can achieve a true realistic
portrait that just simply cannot be recreated with acrylics. I also
do portraits of people as well.

A Little
background on the Paintings above
These 2 portraits
above I did a few years ago for my mother-in-law and father-in-law for
Christmas. "Petite" was Marions mare from years ago and had
passed away about 20 years ago. My husband Paul had to go into the "archives"
so to speak and go on a search and rescue mission to find a picture
that I could work from. Fortunatly after many hours of searching he
found about 5 faded pictures of her and I went to work and this is the
finished piece. Needless to say, it brought many tears that Christmas
morning!
Pauls dad started a Trucking company with his father 'Dan Gamache Trucking'
over 20 years ago, so Paul asked if I could do a portrait of "Ole
Blue" for Dan. So off he went on 'another' search and rescue mission
to find a picture for me to use. "Ole Blue" is the truck that
Danny built from a load of boxes and became the first truck of a fleet
of many!
Above
is another portrait that I did of my dad. My mom found an old faded
photo from when they were ranching out in Quilchena. They had immigrated
from the States to live their dream. This is a portrait of dad with
his horse overlooking the beautiful nicola valley. His sister, Aunt
Dianne bought it, and now I am always being given "that look".
I guess I'll have to do another one!

I will need a 5x7 and an 8x10. This gives me more detail to work
