23" X 23" $1750.00“Another Loop” The traditional method of “breaking” wild horses was a tough and dangerous job for man and horse. Here a wrangler puts another loop on a wild mustang in an effort to control him long enough to put on a brand and start the process of domestication. I created this painting, measuring 23” X 23” with acrylics on canvas and added a custom barn wood frame. The surface is textured, accenting the loose brushwork, which adds to the frenzied action. Western art is a great American tradition and covers a wide variety of subject matter that I explore, including native American art, wildlife art of all kinds and cowboy art.
