8" X 10" SOLD“Bob” This loose portrait was done from a snap shot I took at a western art show a few years ago. My goal here was to reverse the usual compositional rule of placing dark objects against light backgrounds to achieve contrast. The dark hat here merges with the shadow background and his light shirt is only indicated against a stucco wall.
