Pretty
Flowers
My two daughters are my biggest inspiration.
They bring me joy, happiness, laughter, and incredible insight to
myself. Best of all they give to me unconditional love to the best
of their ability. The biggest goal in my life was to give my girls
what my parents gave me, a horse. I believe that through learning
how to love a horse, one must really learn how to love one’s
own self and be at peace and unity with your inner soul. A horse
is a true, mirrored image of who you really are. There are no walls
to hide behind when you are with your horse, they know and see everything
right down to your soul’s core and they react in the way that
you reflect.
My horses, over the years,
have taught me a great deal of my life’s lessons. They speak
to me in so many ways that now I have just learned to accept it
and most of all, I have learned to be quiet and listen. So when
I see my youngest daughter Bailey sitting upon her pony Sheba, truly
being her most inner self and both completely in trust with each
other, my heart fills up with emotion. She has found her place within
herself and is content. Plus she has found her true friend, her
pony. Knowing this brings my gift to her full circle and she has
returned it wholeheartedly without even realizing it.
“Pretty Flowers”
is that true bond of inner self, child, and the spirit of a horse.
It is a moment I will treasure forever deep within my heart.
This beautiful original piece
